Shepherd's Secret Pie

  • 1 bag (14.4 oz.) Birds Eye® Cauliflower Florets, cooked according to package directions
  • ⅓ cup almond milk
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cups Birds Eye® Broccoli, Corn & Peppers
  • 1 ½ lbs. lean ground turkey
  • ½ cup chicken stock

Cooking Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. Place cooked cauliflower and almond milk in a food processor and blend until smooth. Add salt and pepper to taste and set aside.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large saucepan. Add broccoli, corn, and peppers and cook for 6 minutes,stirring occasionally, or until vegetables are soft.
  4. Add ground turkey and cook until the meat is no longer pink, but slightly browned.
  5. Add chicken stock and cook for 10 minutes.
  6. Pour turkey and vegetables into an oven safe baking dish. Carefully spread mashed cauliflower on top to cover.
  7. Bake for 30 minutes or until the cauliflower is golden brown.

Kitchen Tips

Kids can help measure ingredients and spread the mashed cauliflower on top of the pie before baking.
