Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 2 links Italian pork sausage links, casings removed

  • 2-1/2 cups reduced-sodium chicken broth

  • 8 ounces dry short-cut pasta such as penne or rotini, uncooked

  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt

  • 1 bag (10 oz each) Birds Eye® Steamfresh Tuscan Style Blend

  • 1/2 cup heavy (whipping) cream

  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Directions

  • Step one

    Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add sausage to skillet and cook until crumbled and browned, about 3 minutes. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a boil.

  • Step two

    Pour in pasta and salt. Cover and cook until pasta is al dente, 8 to 10 minutes for penne.

  • Step three

    Microwave vegetables according to package directions. Drain.

  • Step four

    Once pasta is cooked, stir in cream and cheese until sauce is melted and smooth. Add cooked vegetables, stir and serve!
