Ingredients

1 tablespoon olive oil

2 links Italian pork sausage links, casings removed

2-1/2 cups reduced-sodium chicken broth

8 ounces dry short-cut pasta such as penne or rotini, uncooked

1/4 teaspoon kosher salt

1 bag (10 oz each) Birds Eye® Steamfresh Tuscan Style Blend

1/2 cup heavy (whipping) cream

1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Directions

Step one
Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add sausage to skillet and cook until crumbled and browned, about 3 minutes. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a boil.

Pour in pasta and salt. Cover and cook until pasta is al dente, 8 to 10 minutes for penne.

Microwave vegetables according to package directions. Drain.

Once pasta is cooked, stir in cream and cheese until sauce is melted and smooth. Add cooked vegetables, stir and serve!
