1 tablespoon butter

3/4 cup long-grain white rice, uncooked

1/2 teaspoon minced garlic

1-1/2 cups reduced-sodium chicken broth

1/4 teaspoon dried thyme leaves

1/8 teaspoon salt

1 bag (10 oz each) Birds Eye® Steamfresh Mixed Vegetables

Directions

Step one
Melt butter in medium skillet over medium-high heat. Add rice and garlic; cook 3 minutes or until garlic is fragrant, stirring frequently.

Step two
Add broth, thyme and salt to skillet; bring to boil. Cover skillet, reduce heat to low and cook 18 minutes or until rice is tender.

Step three
Microwave vegetables according to package directions. Stir cooked vegetables into cooked rice and serve.
